As a solicitor I enjoy finding solutions: listening to my clients and getting to know them is a source of great joy for me and using the law to help them achieve their objective - my mission!
As a manager; every day I marvel at the progress we have been making as a business but my happiness stems from the fantastic people in our team and watching them progress but importantly, challenging each of them to be the best they can be ... as that is what I want for them.
How I can help you
My interest/love in property goes deep - I studied architecture, love history and bringing to life unloved properties is my hobby. Thus advising people on how to protect themselves from a property dispute and being there to resolve one is second nature to me.
In my previous life as a City solicitor with Lovells (now HoganLovells), I advised the likes of Barclays Pension Properties, Prudential Portfolio Managers on commercial/retail property issues, looking after shopping centres such as the Burlington Arcade and parts of Oxford Street and Bond Street in London and the Whitgift Centre in Croydon.
I continue to advise owner managers and businesses in the South West (and London). Having specialised in and experienced property disputes for over 33 years, there is not much I have not come across - with regard to commercial or residential issues. I am a good listener, a problem-solver and can unpack a problem and set out your options in a clear and simple fashion and once a strategy is agreed - be it by negotiation/Court (or both) I can action it efficiently and effectively. I will always have your back.

Commercial property disputes: landlord & tenant, lease renewals, rent reviews, forfeiture, dilapidations, lease advice, nuisance etc.
Residential property disputes: boundary issues, rights of way, Party Wall etc. Act, restrictive covenants, neighbour disputes, nuisance, ownership issues, landlord & tenant, anything that touches or concerns real property.
Land Registry: applications for adverse possession, prescriptive right of way, alteration of title.

Outside of work
An achievement I am immensely proud of is raising almost £1m for various local charities such as the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance, Julia’s House, Weldmar and Dorset County Hospital’s Cancer Unit as a founder member of Buckham Fair. Buckham Fair is going to be back in 2026 - so watch this space!
Other than raising money for charity, there is nothing more precious than spending time with my family - breaking bread and having adventures! When I have time - reading, playing tennis and bringing back to life tired properties feed my creative spirit.
