About me

I have over 17 years’ experience of working in law firms locally.  Prior to starting my legal career, I spent my early career working for legal government as a trading standards enforcement officer.  I grew up in Cornwall but have lived in Somerset for over 20 years. 

How I can help you 

I work closely with clients to assist with many aspects of civil litigation and dispute resolution matters.  I provide clear and practical advice at what is likely to be a difficult time in clients’ lives, building strong client relationships. If court proceedings can be avoided, I will advise clients on alternative options, including forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including mediation and negotiation.

Outside of work 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the countryside or at the coast with my partner and two dogs.  I spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy paddleboarding, swimming and gardening.  I try to keep fit and healthy by practising “at home” yoga, as well as cycling and walking whenever time allows.  I do a lot of reading, particularly to relax at the end of the day.  I love to travel, both within the UK and abroad and I spend quite a lot of time planning short breaks and holidays so I always have something to look forward to.
