I qualified as a Solicitor in July 1990 having been trained at a well regarded national trade union firm Lawford and Co. I joined Simpson Millar another national Trade Union firm in 1993 and became a partner and owner of the business until it’s sale in 2014 whereupon I remained as a consultant to 2018 and from 2020-2023 as a Associate Director of BMA Law ( British Medical Association )

I specialise in Personal Injury and represent victims only .Throughout my career I have worked almost exclusively in the field of Personal injury law including Fatal Accidents, Catastrophic Injury and Industrial disease , including stress and work related upper limb disorder claims . I have considerable experience in acting for clients for whom English is not their first language and for victims injured in North America and Canada , and have acted for many clients from Poland, Ukraine , Latvia , Lithuania and Romania who have suffered injury here in the UK .

I have pursued personal injury cases to conclusion in both the County and High Court and to the Court of Appeal.

I have been recognised in my field by both Chambers and Legal 500 Directories and for many years I have been a member of APIL.

Away from work I have been a playing member of Saracens RFC , in the very distant past, but am now a season ticket holder ,I enjoy and still play league cricket and enjoy real ale and walking having completed the Welsh three peaks challenge, Coast to coast and large parts of the South west Coast path .
