I am a Director and Head of Family Law specialising in divorce law, matrimonial financial remedy and private children matters. I am also a member of Resolution and IDAS.
I was called to the Bar of England and Wales as a Barrister, having obtained two scholarships, The Sir Thomas More Scholarship from her Inn of Court, Lincoln’s Inn, and the Director of BPP Law from my then Law School BPP for outstanding academic achievement. Following qualification, I worked for Humberside Police within the legal services unit and covert authority bureau before being asked to work in private practice in a North Lincolnshire law firm. To practice law within the private arena, I choose to cross qualify and obtain automatic rights as FILEx.
I specialise in private family matters and guide clients through from start to finish, ensuring continuity, establishing a relaxed and friendly relationship with my clients whilst maintaining a professional approach. I also have the ability and advocacy experience to represent my clients at court. I will always endeavour, in the first instance, to reach a negotiated settlement with the other party to avoid often unnecessary court proceedings; always striving to achieve the best possible outcome given each individual client’s case. Besides divorce and related financial matters, I also specialise in private Children Act matters, pre and post nuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements, separation agreements, civil partnerships, Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 advice, which relates to property disputes between unmarried couples.
I am an advocate for legislative/legal reform regarding domestic violence and the family law arena.
I have a keen interest in sport having competed for Great Britain and England with my chosen sport of karate, Wado Ryu; obtaining my black belt at the age of 15, the European Kata Champion twice and competed in both individual and team kumite at both national and international levels in countries across Europe and Great Britain.
I also appeared on a BBC programme demonstrating karate! Nowadays I enjoys
all things two wheels, riding my motorbike when the weather permits and I recently restored a Lambretta scooter. I also have a keen interest and
following of Northern Soul music.

I am certain to recommend Pardoes. The whole process was very professional.
Thank you for your polite, professional and cheerful manner in handling my case.
Staff were all very helpful and I actually felt they knew who I was rather than just another client.
