Pardoes Solicitors has been presented with the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award at a Lord Lieutenant's Awards ceremony, in recognition of ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.

The award was presented personally by His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant, the Sovereign's representative in the county, recognising Pardoes' support for employees, clients and the wider community connected to the Armed Forces, including current and former service personnel, reservists, cadet force adult volunteers and military spouses and partners.

We are proud to be recognised as an Armed Forces-friendly employer.  Pardoes first signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2019, committing to support members of the armed forces, veterans and their families fairly. We have always had close links to RNAS Yeovilton and are proud to support our staff, many of whom have family in the Armed Forces. Our existing teams support military families across all areas of law from Conveyancing, Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, Dispute Resolution, Personal Injury, Property Disputes and Family Law, including specialist advice on divorce and armed forces pensions.

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award is a national award recognising employers who demonstrate a genuine commitment to becoming Armed Forces-friendly. It is presented locally by His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant recognising employers who actively support the Armed Forces community. This includes current and former members of the Armed Forces, reservists, cadet force adult volunteers, and military spouses and partners. Organisations receiving this award have demonstrated a genuine and meaningful commitment to becoming an Armed Forces-friendly employer.
