Sarah was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1993, and then to the Irish Bar in 1994.
Sarah has a breadth of expertise in Family Law including child arrangements, matrimonial finance, TOLATA, property co-habitation agreements and separation. Sarah has a particular interest in pre- and post-nuptial agreements and is a firm believer in prevention rather than cure where possible. She is Direct Access Accredited, a NLP Practitioner and has a LLB combined with Hons in French.
Prior to specialising in Family Law, Sarah spent a number of years in private practice gaining experience in probate, property and commercial law, all of which she finds is most helpful in her family cases.
Such a broad understanding of the wider issues particularly in property, cohabitation and proprietary estoppel, has often proven advantageous to her clients, either in negotiating more acceptable outcomes, explaining more clearly the context of a situation, or assisting them in choosing an appropriate course of action for the future.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys time with her family and dabbling in gardening. She is keen on travel and enjoys spending time in France whenever possible.
