Sue Adams

Sue Adams joined Pardoes as a partner in November 2011. Sue is dual qualified as a Solicitor and a Chartered Tax Adviser. She is also a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners and Solicitors for the Elderly

Sue is experienced in dealing with complex trust and tax issues and advises individuals, families, owner managed businesses and charities. She deals with the creation and taxation of trusts, advising high net worth individuals on estate planning and Wills, post death tax planning, tax efficient succession structures for family businesses and advising company shareholders in respect of shareholder protection and share freezing exercises. She also advises in particular in relation to inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning, ensuring that the reliefs available for agriculture and business are fully utilised. Other aspects of personal advice that Sue covers include Court of Protection work and Lasting Powers of Attorney, particularly for business owners.

In her spare time, Sue enjoys running and yoga, and skiing and mountain walking whenever possible.
