Buying your Freehold

If you have a long lease i.e. one that has over 21 years to run, you would be eligible to apply to your landlord (as long as there are the requisite number of flats who are also participating) to purchase the freehold of the block or property. 

We have considerable experience in advising tenants whether they are eligible, liaising with the other tenants in the block or property and setting out the stages required to purchase the freehold, as well as serving the requisite notice to commence the procedure, together with any application that may be required to the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal if the premium for the purchase cannot be agreed.
