Founded in Bridgwater almost 125 years ago, we're proud of our heritage and even prouder of our role in supporting local people.

Our approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is simple: act responsibly, support our community and make a positive impact wherever we can.

Caring for Our Environment

We're taking action to minimise our environmental impact and build a more sustainable future. Across all our offices, we focus on reducing waste, promoting recycling, and working towards paperless operations. We encourage low-carbon commuting and support hybrid working to reduce unnecessary travel.

In 2025, we proudly opened our Yeovil office in the beautifully restored Old Post Office — reusing materials and breathing new life into a historic building, that reflects our commitment to sustainability and local heritage.

Supporting People and Communities

As a firm deeply rooted in Somerset, giving back to our community is part of who we are. From our Will Aid participation and Legal Aid work with families, to our Free Legal Helpline, we're passionate about helping local people access the legal support they need.
