Licensing

The law relating to licensing changed substantially in 2003.  The Licensing Act 2003 introduced a single integrated scheme for licensing premises which are for the supply of alcohol, provide regulated entertainment or late night refreshment.

Licences are now controlled by local authorities.  Each local authority is responsible for approving and granting premises and personal licences relating to the sale and/or supply of alcohol and provision of entertainment.

Our experienced team can:
  • Advise and lead you step by step through the procedure
  • Make a licensing application on your behalf
  • Appeal against decisions made by licensing authorities
  • Provide advice for a competitive charge
If you are a licensee and need help and advice with your licence then contact us now.  Failure to have the correct licence may result in you being unable to run your business.
