Kit O’Brien joined Pardoes Family Team in October 2009 as a Partner based in our Taunton office. Kit is the Head of the Family Team.

Kit qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and has always specialised in family law. Kits work covers all aspects of relationship breakdown, in particular complex disputes relating to finances or children and she prides herself on offering an empathetic and efficient approach to the resolution of her clients’ difficulties.

Kit is a member of the Law Society specialist Family Law panel  and is also a trained mediator and collaborative lawyer which enables her to offer her clients a wide choice when considering the process within which they wish to resolve matters. Kit is a long-standing member of Resolution and has for many years chaired the Somerset branch of the group.

Outside the office Kit enjoys family life with an ever increasing menagerie!
