After many years as a litigator Richard is now the Compliance and Risk Manager who manages all aspects of these within the firm. His role involves co-ordinating compliance with the many regulatory requirements that apply to the firm, including the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct, professional responsibility and anti-money laundering.

Richard qualified in 1992 and practiced in London for several years. He specialised in professional indemnity and commercial litigation at all levels, including the Court of Appeal and House of Lords. He has a keen interest in music, having been a professional musician before becoming a solicitor.
