Birth Injuries

Babies sometimes suffer damage to their bodies during the mother's pregnancy or during the baby's birth or shortly after the birth.  The severity and type of damage can vary from being very minor to very severe, including death.  Sometimes the damage is temporary and sometimes the damage is permanent and has a dramatic effect on the child's life and also the lives of his/her parents and carers.

It is now well documented that medical complications during pregnancy, birth and after the birth can cause many problems for a baby.  The most common injuries are:-
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Erbs palsy
  • Brachial Plexus Palsy
  • Shoulder dystocia
We will thoroughly investigate what went wrong and where there has been negligence we will prove it.

Most claims concerning children qualify for public funding (Legal Aid) as it is the child's income and capital that is assessed.

Pardoes are committed to their clients.  We will do all that we can to establish the facts and ensure that the appropriate compensation is obtained to pay for:-
