Accidents at work

Your employer is responsible for your health and saftey at work.They  must

• Ensure you have appropriate equipment
• Provide you with suitable training
• Ensure that your work premises are safe
• Check that tasks at work are done safely

The accident was caused by one of my workmates

Your empoyer is responsible for the actions of your workmates. If your workmates cause an accident that injures you, you bring a claim agaist your employer.


Will it affect my job?

Your employer is not allowed to dismiss you simply because you have had an accident or because you make a claim
