We currently have exciting opportunities for experienced Solicitors or Legal Executives, in both Care and Private Financial matters within our growing Family Department
The roles are based at our Taunton and Yeovil Offices. The Yeovil based role provides an opportunity to establish yourself at the hub of the family presence in Yeovil, which is currently serviced remotely. As the sole Family Fee earner at the Yeovil office you will be required to market yourself and the business and demonstrate the ability and determination to build a profitable caseload. With an organised approach and as a self starter the successful candidate will initially be self supportive, undertaking the majority of their own administration with some support provided remotely from our Taunton team. It goes without saying Client awareness is essential whilst consistently delivering a first class service.
The Taunton office role will see the successful applicant join an expanding team and deal with all family related matters, taking on an existing caseload whilst looking for opportunities to develop yourself, your caseload and the firm

The Family department of this modern thinking Legal 500 firm is growing rapidly, bringing exciting opportunities. We would like to hear from Candidates with experience of working with privately funded and complex financial work in a family setting as well as those with a background in Care work.
The roles will require travel to provide cover to our other offices in Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeovil, Dorchester and Bridport. Hours of work are between Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm.
The ideal candidates will have experience in a busy fee earning Family role with an ability to work alone as required to get the job done. Applicants who have experience of building and growing a Family department and using marketing and networking to achieve this are particularly welcome. Collaborative practitioners, those who demonstrate a positive approach and adhere to the Resolution Code would be equally desirable as would those with Children Panel membership or with an aspiration to work towards.
The successful applicants will also be vehicle owners and hold a full driving licence.
