Emily Knowles is a Solicitor in our Wills, Probate and Tax Planning Department.

Emily's work at Pardoes includes preparing wills, estate planning and estate administration. She also specialises in Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work and providing care home fee advice for the elderly. She is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

She moved to Somerset from London where she had a compliance role at JP Morgan Chase. She has previously worked at Citigroup Private Bank in New York in the Global Client Reporting Team. This was in conjunction with Mountbatten Internship Programme where she completed modules towards a Postgraduate Certificate in International Business with University of Cambridge International Examinations.

She completed the LL.B (Honours) Exempting with French Law at Northumbria University. Her studies took her to University of Savoie in Chambéry for the French Law Licence component of the course. She has previous legal internship experience at New York, Parisian and Scottish firms specialising in Media and Entertainment, Private Client and Commercial Litigation.

Emily is a keen skier, cyclist and enjoys watersports. She is half French and enjoys travel in her spare time.
