Kate Williams

Kate is a Solicitor in the Commercial Property team based in the firm's Bridgwater office.

Kate joined Pardoes in January 2012 and brings with her broad commercial property experience covering leasehold acquisitions and disposals, concessions and occupational arrangements, lease renewals, estate management matters, property finance and corporate support (such as business sales and business refinancing and restructuring.  She has also had experience with property related aspects of insolvency and recoveries.

Kate trained and qualified from a large commercial firm based in Bristol. After qualification, Kate specialised in landlord and tenant commercial property transactions, in particular with a retail and large property portfolio focus working for major household-named clients.  Her practise as a solicitor includes an 18-month secondment to work for Somerfield Stores' in-house legal team, which involved carrying out legal project management roles in connection with The Co-operative Group's £1.565 billion acquisition of the business.

During her spare time, Kate runs a small commercial property holding company with her husband, which adds valuable understanding and skills to her role as a solicitor.  Kate is also actively involved with her local town's Tennis Club's Management Committee and sits as a magistrate for the North Somerset bench.
